Roaming Animal Complaints
Council continues to receive complaints about roaming cats and dogs. The Town does not have Animal Control Regulations and the required facilities to collect these animals.
The owners of these animals are responsible for the care and control and should not take these responsibilities lightly.
Please take the steps to have your animals housed or leashed in the required manner.

PUBLIC NOTICE
OPEN BURNING
Over the past few weeks the Town Office and your Volunteer Fire Department has received calls on grass and/or scrub fires, either caused by individuals burning around their property and it gets out of control or fires accidentally set.
Although the Town has no adopted regulations to stop people from burning we have serious concerns about the potential for damage to property or individuals.
Also, please take the time to consider the liabilities you may be faced with if there is loss of property or life.
Your Fire Department is a group of dedicated volunteers that have to leave their jobs, etc. to respond to these unnecessary calls.
Please take the time to consider the consequences of open burning.
